Anurida

Belongs within: Neanuridae.

Anurida is a genus of springtails with an unlobed sixth abdominal segment and possessing a postantennal organ (Christiansen & Bellinger 2008).

Characters (from Christiansen & Bellinger 2008): Fourth antennal segment bearing well-developed blunt setae, lacking ventral file organ. Postantennal organ present. Mandible with up to 12 teeth; molar plate absent. Sixth abdominal segment unlobed. Furcula typically absent; if present, lacking mucrones. Unguiculus, clavate tenent hairs, anal spines all absent.
