Contains: Planococcus, Alicyclobacillaceae, Paenibacillus, Mollicutes, Bacillus, Lactobacillales, Staphylococcus.

The Bacilli are a group of Gram-positive bacteria primarily defined phylogenetically, many members of which produce endospores. Despite the name of the group (derived from the type genus Bacillus), not all its members are rod-shaped.
