Ceropales is a genus of spider wasps in which the eyes are internally emarginate and the labrum is broadly exposed (Tsuneki 1989).

Characters (from Tsuneki 1989): Body black, and yellow- or white-maculated; inner orbits strongly emarginate; labrum broadly exposed; pronotum rounded in front; mesoscutum without strong longitudinal furrows; discoidal cell 2 of fore wing without pocket at its baso-posterior corner; hind coxa with a hump at base above; spines at apex of hind tibia short, of uniform length and splayed; hind T5 with lateral rows of spines beneath; claws of hind leg simple and strongly bent.
