Euomphaloceratinae

Romaniceras ornatissimum, from Amédro et al. (2020). Scale bar = 5 cm.

Belongs within: Acanthoceratidae.

The Euomphaloceratinae are an Upper Cretaceous (Upper Cenomanian to Lower Coniacian) lineage of ammonites that usually exhibit constrictions in the early stages or throughout (Wright et al. 1996).
