Lepthyphantes is a diverse genus of small spiders.

Characters (from here): Legs long and thin, tibia I about 10× width; femur I without dorsal bristles; tibia I with lateral bristle; metatarsus I with dorsal bristle; tibia IV with two dorsal bristles. Embolus very short; paracymbium complex. Epigyne complex; scapus folded.
