Pachydiscidae

Belongs within: Desmoceratoidea.
Contains: Pachydiscus, Menuites, Puzosia, Kossmaticeratidae, Cleoniceratidae, Brancoceratoidea.

The Pachydiscidae are a Cretaceous assemblage of moderate-sized to very large ammonites known from the Middle Hauterivian to the Upper Maastrichtian (Wright et al. 1996).
