Belongs within: Stauraxonaria.

The Radiiformata are a group of radiolarians known from the Carboniferous and Permian periods, characterised by a skeleton with three or more divergent arms (Afanasieva et al. 2005).

Characters (from Afanasieva et al. 2005): Monaxonic or heteropolar, with skeleton with three or more divergent arms, with spongy, porous or lamellar wall of external shell.
