Steganacarus magnus, from Micropics.

Belongs within: Phthiracaridae.

Steganacarus is a genus of phthiracarid mites found in the Holarctic, Afrotropical and Neotropical regions in which seta d on tibia IV is long and removed from the solenidion.

Rhacaplacarus is a cosmopolitan genus of phthiracarid mites. The type species R. amoenus was described from Uganda and probably the greater number of known species are from Africa (Subías 2004).
