Walckenaeria is a primarily Holarctic genus of small spiders, the males of some species of which have the eyes placed on elongated turrets.
Characters (from here): Tibial spination 2-2-1-1; metatarsus IV bearing a trichobothrium; paired tarsal teeth comb-shaped.
